Why is there a Foundation?
After many years of fundraising, the members of the Delta Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. realized the need for an IRS recognized 501(C)3 non-profit to obtain corporate sponsorships and grants to increase their fundraising dollars.

How can I help?
You can help by donating to this worthy cause. Please visit our giving page for more information on the various forms of donations.

Where does my money go and who does it help?
Each year the Foundation awards scholarships to deserving high school students. Proceeds from the Foundation’s events and general donations fund the annual scholarship drive.

I can only make a small donation, will it make a difference?
Every donation, no matter how small will make a difference in the life of a young person.

How can I make a contribution to the Phoenix AKARAMA Foundation?
You can donate online or you can send a gift to the Foundation by mail at PO box 64971 Phoenix, Arizona 85062-4981. Please make all checks payable to Phoenix AKARAMA Foundation. If your gift is in honor or memory of someone, please note that person’s name and the address of where an acknowledgement can be sent so the honoree or their family member is aware that you made a contribution to honor them.

How do I get my name listed in the Annual Donor List?
To be listed in the Annual Report, you must have given at least one gift for that year 

How can I apply for a scholarship?
Scholarship information is available here. Applications may also be obtained by writing the Foundation at P.O. Box 64981 Phoenix, Arizona 85062-4981, emailing ajamcrew@aol.com or by calling the office at 877-252-1908.
