Global Impact

The Phoenix AKARAMA Foundation will continue to  engage in programming designed to enhance the international footprint of both the foundation and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

What we do

We promote and support global organizations through community service projects that make an impact, donate shoes and eyeglasses to those in need and create dresses and shirts for children in Africa and other under-served countries.

How we do it

We actively work with Soles 4 Souls by collecting gently-worn shoes, the Lions Club International by collecting gently used eyeglasses and create dresses and shirts for children in Haiti and other places around the world.
